Miteco as the General Sponsor of the "Golden beočug" 2016
As the general sponsor of the "Golden beočug" 2016, Miteco Kneževac continued its contribution to society through cooperation with the Cultural and Educational Community of Belgrade.
The Cultural and Educational Community of Belgrade has been awarding a special recognition for a lasting contribution to the culture of the city of Belgrade since 1970. The social engagement of Miteco company is also reflected through its multi-year sponsorship of this prestigious award. The Community presented this very company with a special recognition for contribution to ecology and culture in 2015.
"Golden beočug" 2016
"Golden beočug" 2016, as well as special recognitions, were ceremoniously presented at the National Theatre in Belgrade on April 13 this year. The introductory speech during the presentation was given by Živorad Ajdačić, and the presentation itself was preceded by an address by Milovan Vitezović, President of the Cultural and Educational Community of Belgrade.
The Cultural and Educational Community of Belgrade awarded this recognition for the 46th time for a lasting contribution to Belgrade's culture to artists, creators, scientists, ensembles, organizations, and institutions:
- The annual award was presented to Prof. Dr. Uroš Dojčinović,
- The extraordinary "Golden beočug" for lifetime achievement to Nebojša Dugalić, Borivoje Mladenović, and Academician Ljubiša Rakić,
- The extraordinary "Golden beočug" was received by the Pedagogical Museum and the Faculty of Music,
- The "Golden beočug" was presented to: Petar Arbutina, Jelena Jovanović Žigon, Ivan Ilić, Miodrag Jovanović, Bojan Kovačević, Milomir Kragović, Đorđe Makarević, Ljubiša Mančić, Milan - Caci Mihailović, the "Nikola Tesla" Museum, Jasmina Ninkov, the RTS Record Production Unit, the Association of Film Artists of Serbia, and the "Goldenk" hotel.
The contribution to society and culture in Belgrade by Miteco company was made as a multi-year sponsor of this prestigious award with a long tradition. Representing the company were Nevena Čolić Mohora, Director, and Nebojša Tomašević, Head of Sales and Marketing.
Special Recognition for Contribution to Ecology and Culture
A special recognition – the Charter of the 44th "Golden beočug" in 2015 – went to MITECO Kneževac, which has been supporting culture, scientific creativity, and education in the capital of our country for decades. This company also provides a contribution to society through its sponsorship of the "Golden beočug" award, on the proposal of whose jury it also became a recipient of a special recognition for exceptional contribution to ecology and culture. The presentation of this award was held on the Main Stage of the National Theatre in Belgrade on April 14, 2015.
Addressing the award winners and guests of the "Golden beočug" event on behalf of Miteco was Ivana Mirković, Head of the Finance and Accounting Department. In her address, among other things, she stated:
"It is an exceptional honor for me, on behalf of Miteco, to receive this significant award for contribution to the culture of the capital, which is awarded as the highest annual recognition by the Cultural and Educational Community of Belgrade. Miteco wishes to thank you for the opportunity to be part of the group of giants who build Belgrade's cultural identity and, through their creative work, contribute to the spread of culture, education, and science." Lasting Contribution to Society
The Cultural and Educational Community of Belgrade has been awarding recognition for a lasting contribution to the culture of the city of Belgrade since 1970. Special recognitions and the "Golden beočug" have so far been awarded to over 800 artists, creators, scientists, ensembles, organizations, and institutions, including young artists.
Vasko Popa, Radomir Stević Ras, and Jevta Jevtović are the creators of this prestigious award, which is deserved by proven nurturers of scientific, spiritual, and cultural values. The poet Vasko Popa also conceived the very name "Golden beočug".
The Cultural and Educational Community of Belgrade, as one of the most respected cultural and educational institutions in Serbia, marked 60 years of operation in 2016.
As the general sponsor of the "Golden beočug," Miteco company continued its social engagement and cooperation with the Cultural and Educational Community of Belgrade as an institution that traditionally supports culture in Belgrade.
